When I call out to You, You hear me and give ear to my prayers.
“In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears” (Psalm 18:6).
You see the depth of my need and deliver me.
You bend down, brush away my tears, and treasure each one.
You listen and answer my pleas.
You comfort and keep me.
When the enemy tries to rob me of all peace and life, You reach down and save me.
You watch over my life when the depth of my troubles runs deep.
“You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light” (Psalm 18:28).
When I reach out for You, You are there.
You draw me in to where I am fully known and loved beyond measure.
Your presence is life to me.
When I call You are always there for me.
I don’t know what I would do without You.
