Father, please help me.
Take hold of me.
Open my eyes so that I might see beyond my circumstances.
Help me to see with Your eyes the tapestry of life You are weaving all around me.
You are life to me.
I need You.
“Before a word is on my tongue, you know it completely, O LORD” (Psalm 139:4).
You know my every thought.
You see every tear.
You hear me when I cry.
Though life continues to come crashing down all around me, and joy is nowhere in sight, though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet Your unfailing love for me will not be shaken and Your covenant of peace will not be removed.
“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3).
I trust You, Lord.
Fill my emptiness with Your love and presence.
Please keep me from all harm and watch over my life.
Replace this barrenness with the truth of who You are.
You are my joy.
You are life to me.
