Please request only funds that are absolutely necessary. The costs that you can cover, whether it is the airfare or the registration for the symposium, will enable Hunter’s Hope to help other families and individuals.
Travel assistance is prioritized for families and individuals who are newly diagnosed since the last symposium, and those who have not previously attended a symposium.
Eligibility for aid is not restricted to situations described above, however, these requests will receive first consideration.
Please keep in mind that if you receive travel assistance you must make every effort to attend the symposium sessions and are required to complete the follow up survey that will be sent to you after the event. We also ask that you try to offset these costs by creating a Family Symposium Walk team and fundraising.
If travel is awarded, should you not attend the symposium as planned, Hunter’s Hope will invoice you for the cost of travel lost.
