Chloe, our little heavenly angel turns 2 today. How is it that she can feel both very near and very far away? I can remember the miraculous moment that she took her first breath and cry of life and then her last lyrical sigh and smile. But why does it feel like forever since I have held her in my arms, sniffed the scent of her sweet baby breath, kissed her adorable pouty lip, run my fingers through her silky soft hair, listened with happiness as she made her own silent laugh, flicked my eyelashes on her cheek to give her butterfly kisses and felt her chest rise and fall under my warm hands?
Quite often I try to imagine the beauty of the heavenly place where she now dances, but then I realize it must be beyond anything I could ever imagine. I close my eyes and try to peek in on my sweet girl.
Of course there is laughter, giggling, tickling, playing, dancing, skipping, singing and flying. More beautiful than we could ever imagine beauty to be. And our darling Chloe is surrounded by cherub friends both old and new. Beautiful Aubrey is there and the dear little angels are taking turns riding her pink pony, she is so very proud as she giggles with delight. Ava is there and she is cuddling all of the kitty's who are now in heaven, her arms are full with love as the kittens purr in a cuddle of pure happiness. Little Logan is twirling and jumping in a blanket of colorful leaves and he's making kissy faces at all the little girls, which makes them giggle and blush with delight. Lil peanut Eden is using her little pink sweater blanket to wrap the new little babies who arrive in heaven, to keep them warm and loved. Darling Angel Turtle Brittany is near the pond and she is whispering and giggling as she plays with the turtles who are gently nibbling at her ankles, they just adore her. I can see gentle Kye down by the ocean and he is collecting a colorful array of seashells and sand dollars, he loves the ocean breeze and he lets each sea breath fill him up.
Adorable Baby Jade continues to share her beauty and love with her newly made friends, she smiles every time her mommy is mentioned. And who could forget brave little soul Mitch, he is sharing his strength with the angels who need a little extra love and quite often he is seen peeking in on his little brother Kyle. And just a short time ago the angels flew to embrace a newly winged cherub, sweetypee Nicholas.
Chloe, my sweet angel, mommy was so sad thinking about celebrating your birthday without you being here, but something happened today that made me realize that you are here. My heart was full of you. You are everywhere Chloe. I mustn't ever forget that. You are in every beautiful, treasured moment.
